Sell used college textbooks online or at the bookstore?

I got a bunch of used textbooks that I can either sell online or at the bookstore…what should I do? Here’s the thing: my textbooks are in great shape and my ratings on all the sites I go to are all good. The issue is that I will be forced to compete with other prices that other users are selling the same book for and I won’t be getting much money and the shipping fee will also add on to the issue. Sometimes the buyer buys the book based on price AND the book’s quality and the seller’s rating but I will still have competition regardless. If I go to the bookstore, there’s basically no competition but I don’t know if they will buy my book at a cheaper/higher price than that of online buyers. Any advice?

I agree that you should do some research to see what prices your books are going for relative to what you paid. After you have done that I recommend that you try selling them on http://www.bigwords.com and use their buyback program. From personal experience they have always given me better prices than I would be able to get at the campus bookstore. Its worth checking out. I hope this was of help to you.
